To be honest, I was really rushed with this plushie and I don't think I did as well as I could have. I would like to change lots of things about this design if I ever make it again.

I was asked by Edobean, friend to Starmen.net and Games Done Quick, to make a special plushie prize for AGDQ 2015. What is AGDQ? It is a week-long event in which speedrunners plow through various games at warp speeds and broadcast it over the internets. And also accept donations for charity while raffling off prizes. It is always an exciting event, full of surprising shortcuts and cheats for your favorite games, a great sense of community among gamers, and a showcase of artwork. I've been wanting to donate a prize to this endeavor for some time, and now I'm finally doing it! You can win this plushie for yourself if you watch AGDQ and donate, starting January 4th.

This Ridley is pretty dang big. He's mainly made of stuffed velvet with a wire skeleton, plus Sculpey for the eyes. If you want more details on how he was constructed, plus a bunch more glamor shots, head over to my website.

Finally, a Mallow plushie to accompany my Geno plushie.

I had a hard time figuring out Mallow's body shape, with all his fluffy lumps. Eventually, I just kinda gave up. Making him fuzzy and have the same general shape was good enough for me! His arms are jointed for a chopping motion.

And guess what, I've got a few for sale.

I work at a luxury pillow place where I can snag expensive materials once in a while, like the silk-rayon velvet, silk taffeta, and fancy tassels used to make this Windfish pillow. I used a devore technique to burn away the velvet, forming the Windfish image.

I saw this fuzzy dot fabric and my boyfriend remarked that they would make great fuzzy pickles. So I made a bunch for a convention I was selling plushies at, and my boyfriend made the jar logo. You can buy some here.
